Lawyers in Lagos joins the #ENDSARS protest. The Lawyers who carried different inscriptions on their placards had words like: Stop harassing lawyers, Bail should be free, Stop extra-judicial killings, improve the welfare of the Nigerian Police, etc.
Also, these set of Lawyers started their protest march from Ikeja, Under Bridge to the Lagos state Police Command. The lawyers requested to see Mr. Hakeem Odumosu, the Commissioner of Police. Who later addressed them.
Some concerns were raised and laid before Mr. Hakeem Odumosu, who listened and takled all issued raised gradually. The Lawyers were informed that all SARS offices in Lagos has been closed down and such officers are now on regular Police uniform.
It is not surprising that Lawyers in Lagos joins protest to #endpolicebrutality #endsars in Nigeria. We also suffer Police harrassment and brutality too from Police Personnels – Mr. Chide, esq.

Other Lawyers like Femi Falana, SAN; and his son (Folarin Falana ‘Falz’) have also lend their voices in solidarity to the #ENDSARS #ENDPOLICEBRUTALITY campaign.
Falz is seen in a tweet saying the Government is not sincere about Human Rights violation in Nigeria. He also spoke about the Police Trust fund not been funded. He unequivocally stated that by law the Nigerian Police Trust Fund is entitled to 0.5% of the entire monies derived by the Country in a year.
